Overview

Welcome to the website.  This site is intended to create a logical array of arguments for the legalization of many heretofore illegal psychoactive substances.  Many assume that arguments for the legalization of drugs, particular many "hard" drugs, is merely fodder for  damn, dirty hippies and other denizens of the Far Left.  Though these segments of the population do agree on this issue, many of the most compelling arguments for the legalization of drugs affect segments of the population who would normally oppose damn, dirty hippies.  On this site, I will illustrate these arguments, as preaching to the choir does not serve any purpose.

I have divided the website in to three separate spheres to illustrate the benefits of legalization to different groups.  To devout supply-side economics advocates, the "Economics" section shows how we will reduce national debt, create new industries, and tax only dirty low life drug addicts.  To those more concerned with criminals on drugs roaming the streets, I offer the "Civil Liberties" section.  For people with a more international perspective, the "Environment" section details the harm in the War on Drugs and potential farming benefits.  Anyone who remains unconvinced can check out the media section, which contains compelling arguments from a professor, a former DEA agent, and a reggae musician.

Ending the War on Drugs is an important step in fixing many problems facing the United States, from a lackluster economy, institutionalized racism, rampant crime, and environmental hazards.  From this perspective, I encourage you to only vote against politicians who seek to intensify the War on Drugs, and make your voice heard whenever possible on the issue.  You could also protest by imbibing currently banned substances, but I will not quite recommend that.
